Blue Bin Recycling

Ap. 13, 2020
Ann Petersen adds this information to be suspension of blue bins:

The recycler used by the city is not accepting anything during covid-19.  Just put everything all together in the main can.  If you have too much for the main can, put the extra in the Blue Bin.  It will now be emptied into the same truck.  Don’t put anything on the ground – no blue bags, cardboard, etc.  All the garbage is picked up by automation.

March 16, 2020  from the Franklin Web Page:
Franklin— The City of Franklin is sad to announce our new Blue Bin Recycling program is temporarily suspended immediately until further notice.  The recycling processor, Marshall County Recycling has halted services due to the COVID-19, (Coronavirus).  We have reached out to other processors, but at this time there are no services available.
In the mean time, citizens can take their recyclables to the Williamson County Recycling Centers or throw their recycling in the trash. See the locations at http://www.williamsoncounty-tn.gov/1846/Convenience-Centers.
